VISITA PREPARATORIA en el Gimnaznjum nr 9 im "Jerzego Waldorffa" de Poznan, Polonia, del 17 al 22 de enero de 2.005

Con el fin de preparar este proyecto tuvo lugar una reunión en Polonia en el més de enero de 2.005, a la que asistimos representantes de los distintos centros participantes.

Este es el cuaderno de viaje de dicha visita:

Lunes, 17 de enero: El primer día de viaje transcurió ente estaciones de tren y aeropuertos. Nuestro destino final era Poznan, una preciosa ciudad situada a unos 80 Km. de Varsovia.

A lo largo del día fuimos llegando, cansados pero muy ilusionados, todos los participantes en la reunión. Nuestros compañeros polacos nos recibieron en el aeropuerto y nos acompañaron al hote. Por fin habíamos llegado, ahora sólo nos quedaba la engorrosa tarea de deshacer maletas y preparar lo que necesitamos al día siguiente pues la jornada comenzaría temprano.

Martes, 18 de enero: 8:30h. En el hall del hotel nos esperaban nuestras anfitrionas para llevarnos al instituto "Jerzego Waldorffa". Allí fuimos recibidos por la directora y jefa de estudios y visitamos las instalaciones del centro. Después, nos reunimos en el aula de informática donde comenzamos con una presentación de nuestros centros. Para terminar, asistimos a un concierto de música y bailes regionales que se celebró en el gimnasio del instituto. Ya por la tarde visitamos la ciudad. Aquí nos acompañó Lukas, un alumno del último curso loco por la historia de su ciudad y que , en un fluidísimo inglés, nos guió por los lugares más interesantes de Poznan.

Miércoles,19 de enero: La mañana del miércoles estuvo dedicada a seguir trabajando en el proyecto, pusimos en común las ideas que habían aportado todos los profesores, acordamos actividades a realziar, fechas, etc.Después de comer visitamos el Jardín Botánico y el Zoo de la ciudad porque el tiempo ( unos pocos grados bajo cero),no invitaba a hacer actividades al aire libre nia callejear. Por la noche la dirección del centro nos invitó a una cena en el hotel, y después, comartimos un relajado rato de conversación.

Jueves, 20 de enero: De nuevo en el instituto continuó la reuinión de trabajo, ¡el Proyecto ya tenía prácticamente su forma definitiva!. Por la tarde visitamos la Catedrál y regresamos temprano al hotel ya que teníamos que prepararnos para la última actividad del dia: nuestra visita a la Casa de la Ópera para asistir a la representación de "La Flauta Mágica" de Mozart, otra experiencia única de la que todos disfrutamos enormemente.

Viernes, 21 de enero: Durante esta jornada en el centro dimos los retoques finales al proyecto y nos despedimos del resto de los profesores, quedando emplazados para nuestra próxima reunión que tendrá lugar en Italia a principios del curso 2005/06. Desde el instituto nos desplazamos a la ciudad de Kornik para visitar el Palacio de Rogalin, construido a finales del siglo XVIII y rodeado por un impresionante parque donde se encuentran los robles más antiguos de Europa.

Por la noche la coordinadora del proyecto no invitó a una cena de despedia en su casa, una muestra más de la enorme hospitalidad con la que nos acogieron y que desde aquí me gustaría agradecer.

Sábado, 22 de enero: Era el día de las despedidas ya que la mayoría de los compañeros regresaban a casa. El resto aprovechamos el día para descubrir la ciudad a nuestro aire y prepararnos para el viaje del que todos regresamos con la idea reforzada de que la colaboración con personas de otros países, que tienen diferentes formas de ver y hacer, es sin duda una experiencia muy positiva y enriquecedora.

Preparatory visit at the Gimnaznjum nr 9 im “Jerzego Waldorffa in Poznan, Poland, from 17th to 22nd January 2005.

In order to prepare this project we held a meeting in Poland in January 2005 to which attended representatives from all the schools willing to take part in it.

This is the agenda of the visit:

Monday 17th January: The first day went by at train stations and airports. Our final destination was Poznan, a beautiful town at about 80 kms. away from Warsaw.

Little by little all participants arrived, tired but very glad to finally be there. Our Polish partners were waiting for us at the airport and drove us to our hotel. We had arrived at last!now, we only had to carry out the not very pleasant task of unpacking our suitcases and prepare ourselves for the following day as we would have an early start.

Tuesday 18th January: 8:30: Luiza and Ewa, the Polish teachers, were waiting for us at the hotel hall to take us to the school “Jerzego Waldorffa”. There we were welcomed by the headmaster and the Head of Studies and they showed us around their school. After that we entered the Computer class where we were working on our schools presentations. Then we attended a regional music and dance concert which took place in the school’s gym. In the afternoon we visited the city. Here we were accompanied by Lukas, a student of the last year crazy about the history of his city, and who in a very fluent English guided us to the most interesting places in Poznan.

Wednesday 19 January: Wednesday morning was dedicated to carry on working on the Project, we put forwards the ideas that all the teachers had given, we decided on activities, dates, etc. after dinner we visited the Botanic Gardens and the city Zoo because the weather( temperature a few degrees bellow cero) didn´t let us do any outdoors activities. At night the Headmaster invited us for supper in the hotel, and after it we shared a relaxing moment chatting with our new friends.

Thursday 20th January: Back at the school we continued with the work meeting, the Project was getting its final shape!. In the afternoon we visited the Cathedral and returned early to the hotel as we had to get ready for the last activity of the day, our visit to The Opera House to attend Mozart’s Magic Flute, another unforgettable experience that we all enjoyed enormously.

Friday 21st january: During this day at the school we gave the final touches to the Project and said goodbye to the rest of the teachers, who we would meet again at the next meeting that would take place in Italy at the beginning of the next school year. From the school we went to the city of Kornik to visit Rogalin Palace, built at the end of the XVIII century which is surrounded by an impressive park where we found the oldest oak trees in Europe.

At night the Project coordinator invited us to a farewell dinner at her house, one more sign of the enormous hospitality with which we were welcomed, and which we feel very grateful for.

Saturday 22nd: It was time to say goodbye to everybody as most of the participants returned home. The rest made good use of the day to discover the city on our own and prepare ourselves for the return trip. A trip from which we came back with reinforced ideas that cooperating with people from others countries, that have different ways to do and see things, is without doubt a positive and enriching experience.
